PREVIEW: COPPA ITALLIA

Roberto Boscaglia defied his father to support Inter Milan as a boy and has lived the highs and lows of the Nerazzurri with millions of fellow followers.

On Wednesday, the 45-year-old will find himself in a seat at the San Siro he never envisaged being privileged to, as he leads Sicilian side Trapani from the dugout into
battle with the Serie A giants in the
fourth round of the Coppa Italia.

Boscaglia, who failed to make the grade as a player, has guided Trapani to three promotions in four seasons to reach Serie B for the first time in the club's history.

A Coppa Italia scalp is the midweek target for a club experiencing dizzying levels of
success, as they take on an Inter side that has kicked on from the disappointment of missing out on a top-eight league finish last term.

Trapani were 1-0 winners against
promotion-hunting Virtus Lanciano on Saturday, and sit comfortably in mid-table as they settle down in the second tier. Boscaglia is wary about expecting too much from the trip to Milan, and there was a time when he would have been firmly behind the home side.

"I started by supporting Juventus, as my dad did," Boscaglia told the Giornale di Sicilia. "But then I decided to follow my brother's passion, which was Inter."
Ahead of the trip north for the highest- profile match in the club's history, Boscaglia said: "It's a dream that I thought impossible.
"I've always said without false modesty when I started my career as a coach that I intended to get as high as possible, but I never thought that I'd be back at the San Siro to play against Inter.
"We are going to the San Siro hoping to make a good impression, but we know that we will face a team that three years ago won everything there was to win in
the world."

It was a Jose Mourinho team, of course, that lifted the Serie A, Coppa Italia and Champions League titles in 2010, adding
the Club World Cup after the Portuguese head coach's departure to Real Madrid. Despite the latter title, Inter have not been the same team since Mourinho's departure.
They stand fourth in Serie A this time around, but coach Walter Mazzarri bristled at the weekend performance in drawing 1-1 with Sampdoria, saying the display
was "the worst game my team has played this season", and he will be expecting a positive response.

With the top eight finishers in Serie A last season handed byes to the last 16, this week's eight ties will provide the opposition for those teams in the next round in January.

Tuesday sees Bologna face Siena, Spezia encounter Pescara, Avellino take on Frosinone and Parma tackle Varese. Frosinone are the lowest-ranked team left in the competition, hailing from Lega
Pro1B. Along with Inter's match against trapani on Wednesday, Chievo play Reggina and Atalanta will have home advantage against Sassuolo.
Thursday sees Verona travel to face
Sampdoria.

MAN.UTD vs ARSENAL:WHO WINS?

MATCH PREVIEW

The Gunners have begun the campaign in blistering form, winning eight of their opening 10 top flight matches, including a
2-0 victory over Liverpool which opened up a five-point lead at the top of the standings.

Arsene Wenger's men also came through their most recent European examination with flying colours, beating Borussia Dortmund 1-0 in the Champions League to become the first ever English side to win at the Westfalenstadion.

The north London giants will now come up against it once more when they face the defending champions in their own backyard, although the Red Devils' form
has been anything but consistent this season under new manager David Moyes.

Just five wins from their opening 10
league matches has left United already eight points behind Arsenal, while they have also conceded more goals than any
side in the top eight and face the second most prolific attack in Wenger's men.

A goalless outing against Real Sociedad in the European Cup on Tuesday also did little to boost morale in the red half of Manchester, although the result was still enough to keep United one point clear at the top of Group A with two games remaining.

The stalemate also made it eight matches without defeat in all competitions for the champions, having won five and drawn
three in an indication their early season wobbles are beginning to level out.

ROBIN VAN PERSIE
In team news, Robin van Persie is once again set to dominate the headlines, with the former Arsenal captain having scored in both fixtures last term, the first in the
2-1 success for United at Old Trafford before then netting the equaliser in the 1-1 draw at the Emirates.

The Dutchman is also currently the Red Devils' top scorer this term with six goals in the Premier League , although he lacked his usual clinical finishing in midweek, missing a penalty.

UNITED INJURY DOUBTS

Meanwhile, Tom Cleverley is expected to come back in, having been substituted during last weekend's win at Fulham with
double vision, while Michael Carrick has overcome an Achilles problem. Danny Welbeck, though, remains out with injury .

AARON RAMSEY

Arsenal, meanwhile, will again look to man of the moment Aaron Ramsey for inspiration up front, with the Welshman's winner against Dortmund taking his tally
to 11 goals in all competitions for the season, including six in the top flight.

GUNNERS INJURY DOUBT

Jack Wilshere, though, is expected to miss out as he continues to recover from an ankle injury, although a big boost for the
Gunners could see Theo Walcott make his return from almost two months out with abdominal issues.

PREVIEW:EL CLASICO

Spains fiercest rivalry will feature Barcelona against Real madrid this weekend as both clubs resumes their rivalry for the first clasico of the 2013/2014 season.Barcelona leads the pile in la liga and could open a 6-point gap between them and carlo ancelotti's men if they win tomorrow.Real madrid saw-off malaga in a 2-0 win last weekend while barcelona were held by osasuna in a 0-0 score line.

Real Madrid sit third in La Liga, three points adrift of Barca, with their only loss of the season coming against neighbours Atletico Madrid last month.
Both sides have new stars keen to make an impact in their first Clasico - Neymar in Barca's case, and Gareth Bale for Madrid -
while coaches Martino and Carlo Ancelotti will also experience their first taste of Spain's fiercest derby.
While much attention will focus on the impact of Neymar and Bale - the latter having returned from a back injury against Malaga on Saturday - Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are more than likely to
steal the show.

Widely regarded as the two best players on the planet, both have made an outstanding start to the current campaign, with Ronaldo's brace in a 2-1 Champions
League win over Juventus on Wednesday taking him to 15 goals from 12 appearances this season.
Four-time world player of the year Messi, meanwhile, has 12 goals in nine outings.

Real will be without midfielder Xabi
Alonso, despite him returning to training following a broken foot, while Barcelona defender Jordi Alba (hamstring) will also miss the fixture.Madrid have won 90times whilst barcelona have won 86times during the 224matches both sides have played against eachother.
