Juventus will have to do without
veteran midfielder Andrea pirlo for the remainder of the year after he injured ligaments in his knee.
The 34-year-old was forced off the field after just 13 minutes of the Serie A champions' clash with Udinese on Sunday and tests conducted on Monday revealed the extent of the injury.
"The examinations at Turin's Fornaca Clinic have revealed second-grade damage to the medial collateral ligament of his right knee," Juventus said in a
statement. As a result of the injury, the Italy international will miss league fixtures against Bologna, sassuolo and Atalanta as well as a Champions League group match against Galatasaray .
