WILSHERE REVEALS REASON FOR EARLY SEASON SUCCESS

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshire has said that he believes the strong bond within the club is the reason behind their early season dominance, the Daily Star reports.

The north London outfit were bested by a single goal against Manchester United last weekend but still hold a two point lead at
the top of the Premier League table.

The United defeat was only the club's second loss in the League this season, the first coming against Aston Villa on the opening day of the season and Wilshire
believes that the solid bond between the players is the reason why they've set the pace in the early stages of the season.

"It [our team spirit] is massive,” he told Arsenal.com
We've been out a few times. We didn't do it for a couple of years but over the last six months we go out for team dinners and we meet up outside of football, which is good for the team.

Sometimes you just want to get away from football, you want to sit down and talk about life, your family and things like that.

"We've been doing that this season and it's really showing on the pitch.
We've done really well this season and towards the end of last season.
"I think the team spirit plays a massive part in that.
