Manchester City could offload
Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko in
January when Inter Milan come
calling.
Manuel Pellegrini has brought
Alvaro Negredo and Stevan Jovetic to
the Etihad since his summer arrival
and Dzeko has seen his first-team
chances dwindle.
The former Wolsburg man still has a
good goal-scoring record for his
country and that has not been
missed by Inter boss Walter
Mazzarri and owner Massimo
Moratti, according to reports in Italy.
Arsenal have also been credited with
an interest in Dzeko but it seems
Inter are at the front of the queue for
his services.
Moratti has sold his 70% stake in the
Serie A side to a group led by
Indonesian Erick Thohir and he will
meet with his successor to discuss
the best targets for the upcoming
transfer window.
Inter are fourth in the league, thanks
largely to the goals provided by
Rodrigo Palacio but the Argentine
forward could do with a worthy
partner in the Inter attack to boost
the club's chances of winning the
Scudetto.
