Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has showered midfielder Eden Hazard with praise for his role in the Blues' 4-3 win over Sunderland on Wednesday night.

The Belgium maestro provided an assist and scored two as Chelsea recovered from a goal down to claim a crucial maximum points haul to stay in second place on the table. Mourinho ranked the 22-year-old's performance as the best under his guidance.
"Maybe last season he did something similar or even better but with me that is the best," the Portuguese mentor said after the match.
"The talent and the ambition were there from the first minute and that's the first time I've seen that from him.
"He has a great talent but sometimes he does an incredible thing then disappears from the game and then might come back
in the second half.
"Today, though, the performance was fantastic."
He raised concerns about his side's
defensive abilities, after needing a late goal to claim three points against a side battling relegation.
"The game is also about basic things and we failed in the basic things in the game," he added.
"That was down to defensive pieces and set plays. So in a game where we should win clearly, because of the way we played
we risk the result up until the last second.
"In the last six minutes if they have two more corners, they win 5-4."
