HEY 'POOL GUYS,STURRIDGE IS SIDELINED FOR TWO MONTHS!

Liverpool will be without striker Daniel sturridge for six to eight weeks after Brendan Rodgers confirmed that he injured ankle ligaments.

Sturridge, 24, was expected to return to the club’s starting line-up for the Premier League game against Hull after starting on the substitutes’ bench for the 3-3 draw against Everton. Manager Brendan Rodgers said that Sturridge had trained "exceptionally well" but the England international left the club’s Melwood training complex on
crutches after twisting his ankle, amid reports that he had damaged his ankle. And speaking to Sky Sports prior to the game against Hull Rodgers confirmed the news.

He said: "Daniel Sturridge is out for six to eight weeks which is obviously a big blow. It is one where it is about the terrific players to come in. Raheem
Sterling is terrific player and Victor
Moses is a very talented player, and I know they are both hungry to do well."

Sturridge was rested for the Merseysidederby last Saturday because of concerns from Rodgers about his fitness after he played 90 minutes in England’s 1-0
friendly defeat against Germany the Tuesday before. However, he came off the bench to score in that game and his form this season has seen him score 11 goals in 14 games across all competitions.
