Tottenham Hotspur Plan Shock Move to
Appoint Former England Boss Fabio Capello as
Andre Villas-Boas Replacement.
However, Levy will have to act fast if
he wants to get his man with the
Russia FA set to offer the Italian a
new four-year deal.
Premier League giants Tottenham
Hotspur are considering replacing
under-pressure head coach Andre
Villas-Boas with experienced Russia
manager Fabio Capello, according to
reports in the Mail on Sunday.

The Portuguese's future at White Hart
Lane has been in doubt for some time
now after the north London club
surprisingly lost at home in the Premier
League to the likes of both West Ham
United and Newcastle United, while last
weekend's 6-0 thrashing at the hands of
rivals Manchester City at Eastlands has
not helped the 36-year-old's cause
either.

However, despite Tottenham turning in
a much improved display on Sunday as
they drew 2-2 with Premier League
champions Manchester United at White
Hart Lane, it is still thought that Villas-
Boas has just a month left in which to
bring about a reversal in the team's
previously lacklustre performances or
face being given the sack by chairman
Daniel Levy.

And if Levy does opt to part company
with Villas-Boas, then one of the names
on his short list to take over from the
current Spurs boss is that of Capello,
who has just managed to successfully
guide Russia to next summer's World
Cup finals in Brazil.
