The Chelsea midfielder is himself a minor doubt for the game after picking up a mild cold earlier this week, but he is expected to be passed fit to lead the side out at
Wembley.
The 35-year-old will also be presented with a golden cap to commemorate his 100th appearance for England in the
World Cup qualifier against Ukraine last month.
England boss Roy Hodgson is hopeful the Gerrard will be available for next week's friendly against Germany after the
Liverpool skipper had a pain-killing
injection in his hip.
Gerrard has been troubled by the
problem for the last few weeks and will hand over the captain's armband to Lampard against Chile.
But Hodgson has revealed that he has sanctioned a pain-killing injection in the hope that the 33-year-old will be available to skipper the side against Germany.
