Chelsea have finally signed 18-year-old wonderkid bertrand traore . The Europa League holders had been waiting for the exciting Burkina Faso attacking midfielder to be granted a work Permit and faced a nervous wait as several other sides became interested in
Traore after he impressed during
Chelsea's pre-season tour of Asia.
But Traore has decided to remain at Stamford Bridge, signing a four-and-a-half year deal.
Traore joined Chelsea from Association Jeunes Espoirs De Bobo-Dioulasso in 2011, making his international debut in September 2011 and has since picked up 10 caps for Bukina Faso.
He is expected to play a part in
November's World Cup qualification play-off second leg against Algeria - he came on as a sub during the 3-2 first-left win. During the pre-season tour to the Far East, Traore impressed, playing a part in all three games as well as scoring twice against the Malaysia XI and Indonesia XI.
