PELLEGRINI : DZEKO GOING NOWHERE

Manchester City manager Manuel
Pellegrini has ruled out a January exit  for Edin Dzeko who he says remains an integral member of the City squad.

Pellegrini claimed at the start of the
season that the Bosnia and Herzegovina international would be his first choice striker at Eastlands, but the 27-year-old
has featured in just 14 games this term, nine of them from the start.

The former Wolfsburg star is a reported target for a host of clubs in Europe, with Inter Milan, Roma and Borussia Dortmund possible destinations, while Premier League rivals Arsenal could enter the fray
as they are in need of attacking
reinforcements. But the Chilean tactician insists Dzeko remains part of his plans going forward, telling the Daily Telegraph:
"No, that is not the case [that Dzeko will be sold].
"I put my trust in him before the season and I have just as much trust in him now. It is very important for this club to have a
good squad because we have a lot of games to play from now until April and, if we want to win trophies, we need important players.
"Maybe at the moment he is not playing as much as he would like, but he remains an important part of the squad."
