EPL Transfer news.

Wesley Sneijder's move to Manchester United .

It woudn't be a Manchester United
transfer window without Wesley
Sneijder being linked and courtesy
of The Guardian, the rumours have
started earlier than usual.

The 29-year-old has been linked with a
move to Old Trafford in every transfer
window for the past few years because
of how perfect on paper he is for
United's team – nothing has changed in
that respect.

Still as talented as he ever was,
Sneijder's ability from central midfield
would fill a gaping hole at Old Trafford
that has become even more so
glaringly obvious in the absence of
Michael Carrick who does a good job
covering over the cracks.

In the summer, Galatasaray claimed
that they had rejected an 'indirect
offer' for the playmaker from United
and it looks like we might be in for the
next episode of the Sneijder saga this
winter.

One reason that it could have legs is
that Sneijder has recently split with his
agent Soren Lerby which is a change
that at least indicates something is
happening with him and David Moyes
would he hard struck to find a better,
available, established world class
midfielder than Sneijder.

His transfer fee would not be an issue
but he would command a very high
wage which could be the stumbling
block but if Moyes is serious about
bringing in some real quality to the
side, then Sneijder ticks the boxes like
he has done for years.
