Liverpool’s on loan forward, Victor moses has been named Nigeria’s Footballer of the Year for 2013. Moses beat of competition from Chelsea’s john obi mikel and CA Bastia’s Sunday mba who were the other nominees for the award.
The forward helped the nigerian national team to win the 2013 african nations cup whilst scoring some vital goals, and he also helped stephen keshi's men to secure a spot in the upcoming 2014 world cup in brazil.
Moses joined Liverpool on a season long loan from Chelsea this season and he got his Liverpool career going with a goal against Swansea. Moses then struggled as
Rodgers switched to a 3-5-2 formation and asked Moses to play in the number 10 role which was not his most natural.
Moses is better suited playing out wide where he is able to take on defenders with his pace and skill.
