The Uruguayan has seamlessly carried his form into the new campaign, quickly notching six goals in five league appearances since returning from suspension back in September.
With strike partner Daniel Sturridge
leading the division's scoring charts too, the Reds have remained within the upper reaches of the table since the opening day.
Nevertheless, the Liverpool No.7 has warned that further improvement is on the horizon at Anfield. He told Match magazine: "We're doing well right now but we need to carry on that form into the Christmas period.
"I think our best is yet to come, which hopefully means well for the end of the season and our chances of making next season's Champions League. That's one of
our aims.
"It's good to be playing well and
contributing with goals, but the most important thing is getting three points every week. I wouldn't be scoring without the help of my teammates, so thanks to them."
The highlight of Suarez's season so far was undoubtedly the remarkable hat-trick he tallied against West Bromwich Albion last
month. A solo dribble, nutmeg and accurate finish to open the scoring was followed by two headers of unerring power and precision
to complete a high-class treble.
Reflecting on the match, he added:
"Cissokho's cross was at the perfect
height and pace, so I just had to make a good connection and direct it in.
"It might have gone wide on another day, but it was nice to score a good header like that. My third goal was down to another quality cross from Steven Gerrard, so again it's thanks to my teammates."
